This workshop will cover all the essentials of how to be an effective peer reviewer for researchers in all areas, including:
An overview of the different types of peer review
The responsibilities of a peer reviewer
How to critically assess an article and write an effective report
What to do if you have ethical concerns about an article you have been asked to review

About the Speakers
Shreya Arora is Team Lead – Content Review at Taylor & Francis with around 8 years of experience in the industry. In this role, she manages a team of Content Review Editors working with Dove Medical Press and other T&F journals, delivering quality and speed in the peer review process.
Prior to this role, she has also worked with Europa World and Books & Journals Marketing teams at Taylor & Francis. She completed her B.Sc. in Life Science from Delhi University and M.Sc. in Dietetics and Food Service Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Sonali Singh is a Desk Assessment Lead and is responsible for handling desk assessment checks for Taylor and Francis journals and managing team performance and workflow. She is a post-graduate in microbiology and has worked previously as a Research Fellow at Regional Centre for Biotechnology.
